Changing the Saab’s 900s Rear Emblem

This guide will help you change the Saab 900s rear emblem, located in the rear hatch.

1. Here the old emblem. Note the two cracks on the reflector that the previous owner did while removing the emblem.
   
   

   

2. Here the old and the back of the new emblem. Note the location of the two pins.
   
   

   

   
   
   
3. I’ve remove the reflector but there was nothing that could helped me, even removing the screws.
   
   

   

4. So I took two small screwdrivers to get enough leverage without putting too much pressure. With one, the pressure on the reflector was, I think, too much.

5. Here the reflector with the emblem removed.
   
   

   

6. Here the new, shiny emblem. Cost was $35 USD at the dealer.
   
   

   

7. You are done.
